Prisoners of war

Hey pal ,do you know anything about prisoners of war.They are those unsung war heroes who are forgotten as the days progress.Those people who laid down everything to safeguard our families.Speaking about them,they are those brave soldiers who are caught inside the enemy border lines during the war.Those soldiers who penetrate into the enemy region to get their guts out.Those few men who manage to do the damage but fail to make it back to their homeland.They are caught by the enemy and are sent to gallows.And from then their saga of pain and sufferings commence.As for us we tend to forget those war heroes.For those brave soldiers who sacrifice their lives during the war while fighting for their country the Government acknowledges their sacrifice and does what so ever it can do to help their families and loved ones.But as far as the prisoners of war are concerned they are abandoned and left over behind the enemy lines.

There are many Prisoners of war in Pakistani jails who have bared all the tortures and obnoxious treatments holding their breath to make it alive.I dont say that the Indian government has not done anything regarding their release but what ever efforts are taken are not enough.There are POW's who have spent more than 35 years in those cells in the neighbouring country.

Speaking about their families back home , their life becomes more than a hell.As for their parents lose their son,their wives lose their husbands , and poor little children lose their father.Moreover they live in a state of confusion as if their loved one is still alive in those gallows.They seek a ray of hope that their loved one will be back one day.

Although some of those POW make it to homeland after considerable amount of time.Many dont.Some of them had spent as much as 40 years back in those jails.
Talking about yesterday one POW named Kashmir Singh of chandigarh made it back home after spending 36 years in pakistani jails for the charges of espionage.Well his family had been lucky to get him back after so many years.

When he left he was survived by his wife and children now he is received by his third generation.Its always good to receive after so many long years.

Well its good for him and his family to get him back.But there are many more such Kashmir Singh back in pakistani jails who are waiting to get back home to see their loved ones.
I pray to god that all these brave men who did their best to protect and safeguard us must meet with what they deserve.A heroic welcome back home where they can live freely with their family.And live in peace.May those ray of hopes become reality.May they get back soon to where they belon.
